Our Beginning...

 

After working for 14 years (from 1980-1994 with the former G & S Office Supply, which was located in Dalton Georgia), Greg Suits set out on his on and opened Preferred Office Supply & Printing of LaFayette in September of 1995, in the beautiful downtown LaFayette Georgia area.  The company was graciously accepted among the local businesses and individual patrons with open arms. Our customers said, "Now we no longer have to go out of town for our supplies". The company quickly developed a reputation for having quality, in-stock products, a competitive pricing structure, along with a caring, helpful customer service team.

After outgrowing our first 2 locations, we feel we should have sufficient showroom and warehouse space within our 3rd location. We started out with a 1500 square foot storefront and quickly outgrew it. Then we purchased a 4500 square foot building, which housed our storefront for another 7-8 years. But with the purchase of our current location, a 12,000 square foot building with ample parking and warehouse space, we have finally found our home.

Preferred's catalog, sale flyer, and special-order programs contain thousands of products that you need to run your daily business. Our offerings include office and school supplies, technology supplies and hardware, and an ever growing variety of office furniture, such as office and guest seating, desking systems, computer furniture, filing cabinets and systems, janitorial and breakroom supplies, and even include a selection of trees and accent greenery, to complete your office with that finishing touch!

Ordering with us at Preferred is as simple as A-B-C!  We have customers that either call and place their orders verbally or fax their orders to us, some who want to drop by the store and pick up their merchandise, and some that want to place their orders online within our easy-to-use, web-based online ordering storefront. Our online storefront ordering method is quickly growing into the preferred method because of features such as order history reports, being able to build a "favorites" list of the items that you order most often, seeing your contract pricing right there on your screen, and also being able to view and take advantage of our "Weekly Specials". Whichever method that is convenient to you is just fine with us! We then finish off your order with our FREE DELIVERY, within our local service areas.

Preferred has grown from the small company started in 1995, to one of the largest Northwest Georgia Independent Office Products Dealers with the help of you, our valued customers. The breadth of the product offerings continue to grow as you, our customers, make requests.
